
High strength structural steel
Low-alloy high-strength structural steel is made by adding a small amount of alloying elements on the basis of carbon structural steel (Wc=0.16%~0.2%), with good weldability, plasticity, toughness and processability, better corrosion resistance, higher strength and lower critical conversion temperature of cold and brittleness.
Its grade representation method is basically the same as that of carbon structural steel. It is suitable for the construction of Bridges, ships, vehicles, railway high-pressure containers, boilers, cars, tractors, large steel structures and large military engineering.
Grade representation method: The grade of steel is arranged in order by three parts: the Chinese Pinyin letter (Q) representing the yield point, the yield point value, and the quality grade symbol (A, B, C, D, E).
