Die steel 

Die steel is used to make cold stamping die, hot forging die, die casting die and other molds of steel.  Molds are the main processing tools for manufacturing parts in industrial sectors such as machinery manufacturing, radio instrumentation, motors, and electrical appliances.  The quality of the mold directly affects the quality of the pressure processing process, the precision of the product, the output and the production cost, and the quality and service life of the mold are mainly affected by the mold material and heat treatment in addition to the reasonable structural design and processing accuracy.

Die steel can be roughly divided into: cold rolled die steel, hot rolled die steel and plastic die steel three types of cold rolling die including cold stamping die, wire drawing die, drawing die, stamping die, wire rolling die, cold heading die and cold extrusion die.  Cold mold steel, according to the working conditions of its manufacture, should have high hardness, strength, wear resistance, sufficient toughness, as well as high hardenability, hardenability and other process properties.

Tool steel Tool steel is the steel used to make cutting tools, molds, measuring tools and wear-resistant tools.  

Tool steel has high hardness and can maintain high hardness and red hardness at high temperatures, as well as high wear resistance and appropriate toughness.

Tool steel is generally divided into carbon tool steel, alloy tool steel and high-speed tool steel.
